Ajinomoto Japan Food Show

On the occasion of the Japan Food Show, Pierre & Maurice has collaborated with Ajinomoto, leader in the food industry in Japan, about its strategy of establishment in France.

P&M thought up a Japanese inspired booth surrounded by Procédé Chénel boards, as a reminiscent of shōji. These translucent rice paper walls hang wooden frame on are typical in the traditional Japanese architecture.

The trolleys has been inspired by yatai. These outdoor fast food booths are part of the scenery in some cities in Japan, where you can enjoy local culinary specialties. Culturally entrenched, these street shops create a friendly atmosphere, so P&M wanted to recreate that same environment to transposed visitors and immerge themselves in the Japanese ambience.
